Midnight on Christmas Eve. The perfect time to reflect on the warmth and life of the year before. 
 
Buffalo, New York is often synonymous with "snow." Because of its location along Lake Erie, the city and surrounding region can get great amounts of snowfall from lake-effect snow. Prevailing winds blow across the lake dumping snow along the Buffalo area. Despite having several major winter storms in the months before Lake Erie completely freezes over, Buffalo's winters are relatively tame with less than an inch of snow covering the ground.
